Welcome To Tally Ho Training - THT

 

I am so happy you have chosen to have a look around.  If you are here then you must know the value of being fit and healthy... but maybe you haven't been looking after it as well as you should have. Fitness can be a really daunting thing and getting started can be one of the most difficult things to do.  

 

That is why we are making it as easy as possible for you

Let me introduce myself...

 

My name is Lisa Gembitsky and I've been working in the fitness industry for over 20 years, throughout New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.  I have competed at international level in sports including, Judo, Karate and Gymnastics and won a few shinny gold medals for my efforts.  

 

I've also helped to set up and open world class restaurants for the likes of Jamie Oliver.  Working with children and youth was another career path that took me on many adventures through America.

To round out my experience I've worked as a bodyguard, bar-tender, barista, business coach... so many b words... and as a professional actress.

One of the most rewarding things I've done is working with thousands of people from all walks of life as a Personal Trainer.  It has helped to shape the kind of fitness experience I want all of my clients to enjoy.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are three main principals that we focus on at THT

 

Education

Learning how your body works is a big part of achieving your goals.  As a part of your fitness journey you will be given an in-depth understanding of why your body reacts and moves in a certain way and how to use it properly. 

Intrinsic Motivation

Motivation comes in different types. Intrinsic motivation means it comes from you to get things done. Some of us have heaps of this, unfortunately most of us have very little. However, intrinsic motivation can be learned and increased. This is something you will achieve during your fitness journey.

Goal Setting

The idea of being fit and healthy is great, but for most of us it is one giant, far in the distance goal, which can often seem unattainable. But don't worry,  our team will help you learn how to create bite-sized goals and design a map of how to get you to where you really want to be.  You deserve this!

 

Where to next...

 

I am based in Wellington, New Zealand and very happy to be home.  I have 3 teenagers and a nearly husband who eat everything... but they do clean up so maybe I'm winning.
